WORLD HERITAGE SITE AT AYUTTHAYA

Among the “must see” attractions in Thailand is a visit to Ayutthaya, the former capital of Thailand situated 76 kilometers north of Bangkok. The Thai capital for 417 years, Ayutthaya is one of Thailand's major tourist attractions. Many ancient ruins and art works can be seen in the city, which was founded in 1350 by King U-Thong. 33 kings of 5 dynasties ruled the kingdom until it was destroyed by the Burmese in 1767.

ITINERARY

08.00hrs.          Pick up from hotel to Ayutthaya, Ayutthaya is the second former capital in Thailand where is the world’s UNESCO heritage  site.

09.30hrs.          Visit Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, The royal summer palace for the King’s of Thailand.

10.30hrs.          Visit Wat Mahathat Temple, The biggest Buddhist temple in Ayutthaya with beautiful ruins.

11.00hrs.          Visit Wat Phra Sri San Peth & Viharn Phra Mongkol Bophit, The Royal Temple inside    the Grand Palace. If time allow stop at Elephant Camps for elephant feeding.

12.00hrs.         Enjoy lunch at local restaurants.

13.00hrs.         After lunch visit Wat Chai Wattanaram, the one and only Buddhist temple in Ayutthaya with Angkor Wat in Cambodia style of art.

14.30hrs.         Back to Bangkok

16.00hrs.        Arrived in Bangkok
